Chittagong Container Transportation Company Limited (CCTCL) was incorporated as a private limited company in 2003 at Chittagong, Bangladesh. It is one of the largest container depots in the private sector of Bangladesh, sponsored by a group of businessmen who started their business in the early 1980s.
CCTCL operates as a container depot for import/export containerized cargo un-stuffing and stuffing, with a bonded area nearest to Chittagong Port. Facilities include a 50,000 sft warehouse for export cargo (ready-made garments, finished leather, ceramics and other valuable exportable goods), frozen goods stuffing, and direct stuffing for jute, jute goods, hide & skin, scrap and more.
The yard stacks 6,000 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units) at any time against ground rent and haulage charge, and handles 3,500 TEUs of export stuffing per month — supported by top-loaders, forklifts, trailers and prime movers.
